Gemini PT-2100 Turntables

The Intro

The Gemini PT-2100's offer high quality performance turntables at an affordable price. Though perhaps not technically the equal of the famous 1200's or 1210's from Technics, these 2nd generation decks from Gemini are not far behind.

The Good

I managed to pick up a pair of these with a Gemini mixer for a few hundred bucks less than it would have cost to get the Technics, and have got to say I have no regrets.

The PT-2100's have a few nifty features such as reverse play, no "clicking" on the pitch control, and a nudge button that can either speed up or slow down the platter (though I prefer the manual finger nudge myself).

The Bad

I guess the only thing I could really say against the Gemimi PT-2100 turntables is they're not Technics 1200's. That not really a criticism, merely saying that when you play out in a club the chances are you'll be using Technics.

Overall Rating

If this doesn't bother you, then these fine Gemini turntables are well worth investing in.
