The Intro

The Technics SL-1200 M3D turntables we're the first upgrade since the pivotal Technics SL-1200/1210 MK2.

The Good

One feature that sets the Technics SL-1200 M3D apart from the 1200 MK2 is the pitch reset, which doesn't click around the zero mark, giving the DJ total control.

The traditional high Technics high torque is as evident in the M3D's as in any of the Technics turntables. Also, there's particularly high skip resistance.

The Bad

Some DJ's have noticed some trouble with the turntable motor, suggesting a little more power would be useful.

Overall Rating

Perhaps the M3D is only let down by the fact that not much has changed since the MK2. That said, with all Technics turntables you're guaranteed quality.
